Consultation

Public consultation. The Committee issued a call for evidence, which closed on 12 March 2020.

Survey

In addition to the consultation, the Committee also conducted a survey aimed at landlords on the Bill.

Focus groups

As part of the Committee’s scrutiny of the Bill, focus groups were held between February – March 2020 to gather the views of tenants and landlords across Wales.

On 14 July 2020 the Business Committee published a revised timetable for scrutiny of the Renting Homes (Amendment) (Wales) Bill. The new deadline for the Committee to report on its scrutiny of the Bill is 2 October 2020. The Committee held its final evidence session on 20 July, which can be viewed on SeneddTV.
