Inquiry into Air Quality
Inquiry into Air Quality
The Climate Change, Environment and Rural
Affairs Committee (the
Committee) had planned to undertake an inquiry into air quality.
Unfortunately, work on
this inquiry was suspended in April 2020 to enable the Committee to focus its
work on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Committee would like to thank
everyone who has taken the time to contribute their views to this inquiry.
This work coincided with the Welsh Government’s consultation, The Clean Air Plan for Wales Healthy Air, Healthy Wales. The output from the Committee’s inquiry was intended to inform the development of the Welsh Government’s legislative proposals for a Clean Air Act for Wales, which are expected to be published before the end of this Senedd term.
