The Committee has since undertaken follow-up work on Brexit preparedness.
The Committee took evidence from the Welsh Local Government Association, Universities Wales, and the Welsh NHS Confederation during its meeting on 20 May 2019 and from the Federation of Small Businesses Wales during its meeting on 3 June 2019. The Committee received written evidence from Wales Trades Union Congress (PDF,111KB), and Food and Drink Wales (PDF,120KB).
Following the sessions and receipt of written evidence, on 19 June 2019 the Chair wrote (PDF, 188KB) to the Counsel General and Brexit Minister about Brexit preparedness in Wales. The Counsel General and Brexit Minister responded (PDF,302KB) on 18 July 2019.
On 4 November 2019 the Committee held evidence sessions with representatives from the ports, transport, food and farming sectors. On 11 November 2019 the Committee held an evidence session with representatives from the public services sector.
