Perinatal Mental Health - Follow-up - consideration of the October update from the Welsh Government

5.1 The Committee considered the update from the Minister. It agreed the following:

·         to invite the National Clinical Lead to give evidence at a formal committee meeting;

·         to invite WHSSC and a representative from Swansea Bay University Health Board and Betsi Cadwaladr University Heath to give evidence at a formal committee meeting;

·         to request a Chair’s Plenary statement under Standing Order 12.50 (iv) at an appropriate future date to draw progress to the Assembly’s attention.

Inquiry into Education Otherwise than at School - consideration of approach to evidence gathering

6.1 The Committee considered the approach to evidence gathering. Members agreed to visit three PRU/provider of education services otherwise than at school to speak with young people, staff and parents/carers.

6.2 The Committee agreed the schedule of witnesses for oral evidence sessions, to start in January 2020.
