and Welsh Language; Emma Williams, Deputy Director, Support for Learners, Welsh
Government; and Tania Nicholson, Head of Additional Learning Needs Legislative
Programme, Welsh Government on the Additional Learning Needs and Education
Tribunal (Wales) Bill (ALNET). 3.2
The Minister agreed: ·
to
write to the Committee outlining how the £20 million package of support for
Additional Learning Needs, announced on 7 February 2017, will facilitate and
support the implementation of the ALNET Bill, including how it will be profiled
for local authorities; ·
to
report back to the Committee on the implementation of the ALNET Bill at the end
of its scrutiny, outlining how it will be monitored; and ·
to
write to the Committee if more resources are needed in relation to the
statutory role of designated medical or clinical officer (DELCO), following
consultation with the Expert Group on Health and pilots. |
