Minutes:
The Committee considered further correspondence on the
petition and, given the current uncertainties surrounding the UK’s future
relationship with the European Union, and the resulting constraints on the
Welsh Government’s powers to act at this time, agreed to keep a watching brief
on the issue and seek a further update in six months’ time, or sooner if the
situation changes.

The
Committee considered the petition for the first time and agreed to await the
views of the petitioners on the response received from the Minister for
Environment, Energy and Rural Affairs before considering further action on the
petition.
