Assembly Business

Assembly Business is the work carried out by Assembly Members to represent the interests of Wales and its people, make laws for Wales, agree Welsh taxes and scrutinise the Welsh Government. They do this through Plenary and committee meetings.

Committees

Committees in the Assembly carry out many functions, including scrutinising the policies of the Welsh Assembly Government, holding Ministers to account, and examining proposed legislation.
