I believe as a parent or Guardian of a child it is your responsibility to care and protect your children and if they need correcting or punishment then it is up to the individuals to do so within reason I grew up with this as well as canning in schools and it never did myself any harm as once you have had the cane you did not want a second one

1.3     Do you think there is a need for legislation to deliver what this Bill is trying to achieve?

No this bill should be abolished I only ever corrected my daughter once she is now 22 and getting on with her life I also think that canning should be bought back in schools

Yes politicians who are out of date with the electorate people of their countries

Yes any cost for a stupid bill is wasteful

Yes as I have stated previously it is a stupid LAW to bring in therefore a disgraceful waste of money badly needed for more urgent needs
