I do not believe that anyone has the right to inflict pain on a child for 'punishments'. It is absurd and completely unnecessary. Why are adults still under the impression that inflicting pain on a child is OK whilst they would not want anyone to do such to them? It is nonsense.

Absolutely! There is too much great area at present. Losing your temper should not be covered over with 'reasonable punishment'
