Parents are the best people to decide on discipline for their individual children. The state should not interfere in family life.

Yes. The state removes responsibility for children from parents. Good parents understand their children better than politicians.

I believe more children could end up in care breaking up families and the state paying for this.

I feel this bill is publicity for politicians at the expense of family life. It is somewhat reminiscent of USSR. Children need guidance, principles etc and the best people to deliver this are parents. Unnecessary state interference in family life is a bad idea.
