Banning smacking could possibly result in thousands of parents being criminals, and would not stop bad parents abusing children, in fact it would possibly make it impossible for our police force to adequately enforce this law..

A recent poll...2017ComRes reports that 76% of welsh adults were against criminalising smacking as aposed to those in favour was just 11% so therefore implementing such a smacking ban would be against the majority o& the welsh people.

A gentle smack has been in place for many many years in the bringing up of children as means of discipline, I have brought two children up and were smacked on occasions , they are both parents now , and I must say, they are well adjusted adults. It hasn’t harmed them one bit. They were dealt with in love.
